Snapshot of Lakers Vs. Celtics
In this snapshot of the amazing laker's stadium, you have 19,000 fans watching the NBA finals. It smells like sweat and greecy food in the stadium. You can almost taste the burgers and fries on your tounge. The clocks winding down, and the game is on the line. It's a close game and the lakers just need to hold out for a few more minutes. You can actully feel the tension in the air!
All the starters are in, except Lamar is in for probably Ron Artest. Kobe bryant is shooting a right handed reverse layup. He seems to be flying through the air like a acrobatic hawk. Kevin Garnett is attempting to block him resembling a lion on a high speed chace missing its prey, but is too far behind Kobe. Lamar Odom, who is married Khloe Kardasian, is boxing out in case Kobe misses. Pau Gasol is coming up from behind to try and hit the boards. Big Baby Davis is fouling Kobe from behind on the shot. The foul doesn't seem to be affecting Kobe. The ball is soon to be roaring through the air to score!

Powerless
In the end of the novel, I think George was very capable of controlling the situation. He could have easily led the group the other direction away from Lennie and then brake away from them and go to Lennie. As for Lennie, if was smarter, he wouldn't of ever even had to have been in the situation. If he just knew his own strength and could think a little more like an adult, he would have never killed Curley's wife. Anyways, he didn't really have much control over any of it because he didn't even know George and the group we're looking for him to kill him.
When I was younger, and the brain of Lennie, I used to get myself into stupid situations all the time. One time I made my parents really mad by, well I can't really remember, but I think I might of taken something from someone's house. I was so little, I couldn't really think of what I was doing. After my mom found out, she was really mad and wanted to ground me for forever. She also was forcing me to go and apologize. I was shy, scared, and really didn't want to, but I had no choice. I was completely powerless. I ended up having to apologize and I was so scared. I was also grounded for a long time, but at such a young age it really didn't last long and my mom didn't really hold it. I learned from the mistake though, and haven't had to go through anything since.

A Perfect World
A perfect world can be different in many perople's eyes. In my eyes however, I probably see it a little different. The geography would basicly be the same, excpect there would be no deserts or exteremly hot places. Everything would be green, as in the plant life in now a days West Virginia. There also would be many small lakes and non-flooding rivers. Beaches would be beautiful and not litter filled, like some beaches now. Also, there would be no "global warming," if there is such a thing, and unlimted natrual resources.
As for what the humans have, they would have to work for it. I believe that if you work hard, then you should be rewarded well and not have to give out your hard earned money to people that don't do anything. If you don't work, then you would be homeless. Although, free education would be provided to everyone, so no one would have to be homeless. There would be no "sexy" or "pretty," everyone would look the same. Everyone would only have to look at a human's personality to find an inner friend or relationship.
The technology would be astounding. There would be self-flown personal cars for everyone who could afford them. This contributes to working hard as seen in the last paragraph. All you would have to do is type in your destination and sit back. The car would instantly take you. This would eleminate wrecks for the most part, unless the technology crashes. Cell phones would stay the same as they are now. Cooking, cleaning, and anything to do within the house would be voice controlled. All you would have to do is say a command to it, and the rest would be taken care of.
There would be no war over beliefs, money, or anything like that. Although, if someone deliberatly hurts you, you have the right to take it to the authoritys. You may press charges and it would cost you nothing, if you won. If you were a celebrity or rich, you could not buy your way out. Anyone and everyone would be treated equally in court. This is my ideal perfect world. How about you?
